Chamberlain International School Engages in Denmark Exchange Program

Based in Massachusetts, Chamberlain International School is a co-educational therapeutic boarding and day school that welcomes students aged 11 through 22. It educates students with an emphasis on therapeutic care and programs that enrich student lives through academic success and personal growth. In addition, students at Chamberlain International School receive the opportunity to learn about other cultures from the staff and a student exchange program with the Hilltop School in Skive, Denmark.

Hilltop caters to students with similar backgrounds and therapeutic needs, creating the foundation for an exchange program that fulfills the needs and expands the knowledge of US and Danish students. Launched in 2012, the program enables a select group of students from both schools to experience life in a foreign country. Participating students will travel alongside faculty from their country of origin and attend classes with native students. Outside of academics, they receive the chance to form friendships with students from their host country and explore the surrounding area.

To stay abreast of educational and therapeutic topics from an international perspective, faculty from both schools will also share trainings and case conferencing, and engage in the exchange of information.
