International Opportunities at the Chamberlain International School

A therapeutic boarding and day school, Chamberlain International School is a school of inclusion and a candidate school* for the Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy--a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Chamberlain International School believes is important for our students.

Educational trips are one component of the international programs at Chamberlain, with destinations such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Bermuda. Through these experiences, students learn about life in the region they visit in addition to culture, history, art, and other subjects. Beyond academic learning, students gain real-world experiences in international travel and learn to overcome communication barriers. Moreover, students that visit Bermuda have the opportunity to partake in research activities at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences.

Even when studying in the United States students receive are still exposure to international experiences. This is accomplished through an internationally diverse faculty and student life staff, who help students gain knowledge and exposure to cultures from abroad. For additional information on these international programs, visit www.chamberlainschool.org.

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
